The Islamic University of Madinah is organizing the Forum for Graduates of Saudi Universities from West Africa in the Republic of The Gambia during the period from 17-18 Shawwal, under the patronage of University President Dr. Religious and advocacy in Africa and some graduates of Saudi universities. The forum includes 30 working papers and scientific research presented by researchers and specialists from graduates of Saudi universities. The speakers will discuss five themes through five sessions over two days, reviewing the graduates’ efforts in explaining the concept of moderation and advocating for it, warning against extremism, clarifying the tolerance of Islam and the moderate orientation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the graduates’ efforts in the field of developing their local communities with a presentation of successful experiences and models and a review of their experiences in this field The role of graduates in developing their state’s relations with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the graduates’ efforts in the field of spreading science and knowledge, enhancing cooperation and communication between graduates, transferring experiences among them, communicating with educational, advocacy and social institutions, and reviewing successful experiences in this field. Participating in the first session are: Dr. Younes Sanon, Vice-President of the Preachers Symposium in Burkina Faso, Dr. Ibrahim Samb Injay, Dean and Teacher of Literature and Grammar at the Emaar College of Arabic Language and Islamic Studies in Senegal, Head of the Education Department at the Islamic Institute of Dakar, and Dr. Ahmed Ramadan Gallo, Secretary of Education at the Islamic Center for Education Education and Research in Sierra Leone, Dr. Abbas Shams El-Din Ibrahim is a lecturer at the University of Educational Sciences and the Ministry’s envoy in Ghana, Sheikh Mohamed Amin Toure, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs in The Gambia and imam and preacher of the Republican Palace, and Dr. Fodi Jagna, Financial Director of President Yahya Jammeh Islamic University in The Gambia.
